Investment strategies

Sector is secondary.
Structural fit is primary.

We look for businesses and assets with proven underlying value and an identifiable structural gap — situations where Irivon's operating capabilities can materially improve the trajectory.

01 — What we invest in

One platform. One flagship. Three extensions.

Private equity is the flagship. Everything else extends the same operating model.

02 — Why we invest

The Irivon Impact Test.

Before we ask whether a company is attractive, we ask whether Irivon can make it more valuable.

01

Can we materially improve revenue?

Positioning, distribution, sales architecture, pricing or market expansion.

02

Can we improve the operating system?

Processes, automation, management infrastructure and execution discipline.

03

Can our infrastructure create an advantage?

Sourcing, capital access, market intelligence or operational deployment the company could not access alone.

04

Can we create a credible path to higher enterprise value?

Not theoretical growth — measurable structural improvement.

No material impact. No investment.

Technology & AI

Not “AI companies.” Businesses where technology creates operating leverage.

Software and AI-enabled businesses with proven products where distribution, operations or commercialisation — rather than product viability — constrain growth.

FAQ — Questions

Questions we are asked.

Direct answers, in the words we use with investors and partners.

What kind of businesses does Irivon acquire in the lower middle market?
Established, profitable businesses with proven underlying value and a structural constraint Irivon can materially influence — typically where revenue architecture, operating systems or founder dependency limit the next stage of growth. Sector is secondary to the situation.
Does Irivon only make control acquisitions?
No. Lower Middle Market is Irivon's flagship strategy and centres on selected acquisitions with operational transformation, but Irivon also makes growth and strategic investments in technology and AI businesses and project-level investments in real assets.
What is the Value Creation Equation?
Proven underlying value plus Irivon structural improvement produces a stronger operating business and a structurally stronger asset. Irivon does not underwrite value creation to market multiple expansion; value comes from what changes inside the business.
What does Irivon not invest in?
Situations without proven underlying value or a credible path to it; situations where capital is the only thing being requested; situations where there is no identifiable structural opportunity Irivon can influence; and situations requiring capabilities outside Irivon's mandate.
Where do marketplaces and network platforms fit?
Within Technology & AI. Marketplace and network businesses — including selected platform holdings such as ExitToBuy — are a type of technology and platform investment rather than a separate asset class.
